Charlie's Birthday

We went up to Denver last week for a quick trip.  Charlie wanted to take us all out to Casa Bonita for his birthday.  It was really fun and the kids had a blast.  Everywhere they looked they would see something new and exciting.  The mariachi band even sang a happy birthday song to Charlie.  They stood right behind Kenzie who had a look of fear on her face the whole time.  It was priceless!  We had a fun evening with Mom and Dad and the Allemans.

I on the other hand didn't have such a great Casa Bonita (or Casa Don't-Eat-a...as Jason would say) experience.  Whatever was in that food did not agree with me and I was really sick for 24 hours and didn't get 100% better for a few days.  Uggghhh, it was not fun!!

On Saturday we had some friends over and I made Charlie an ice cream cake that was huge!  We were glad to have help eating it and enjoyed having fun with our friends.

Monday, his actual birthday, Dallin was so excited to give Charlie his present.  We got him Big Buck Hunter Pro.  It's a plug and play video game.  We spent Monday night playing the game as a family, it was really fun!
