I don't have any pictures but I have lots to talk about! First and foremost we are excited to announce that we are going to have an addition to the Pratt family sometime around January 17. We are so excited and can't wait to find out what we are having.
The kids are excited as well. When we told them Dallin had all kinds of questions about where the baby came from, why can't he see it, and when will he be able to see it? Kenzie was excited but insisted that she DID NOT want to see the baby. Since Dallin was so curious I found a magazine that shows photos of the fetus at various stages of development. At this point it's looking quite alien-ish and I think he was a little startled by it. We talked about it and I assured him that he wouldn't have an alien for a sibling. Kenzie however, I think we just made matters worse for her :-)
Dallin is sure it's a boy and we will name him Tarzan, and apparently Kenzie agrees. It's so funny to hear them talk about the baby. Tonight at dinner Kenzie asked if the baby was eating pizza too. I told her that the baby eats everything I eat. Dallin wanted to know if he could get back into my stomach and come out again. And then he wanted to know if Daddy could get in my stomach! The things they think of!!
Charlie and I celebrated our 10th anniversary this week. We drove up to Denver and dropped the kids off at Grandma and Grandpa's. Then we headed out for two days of no responsibilities and carefree living. We went shopping, saw a movie, ate out (not fast food!), spent the night at a hotel, went to Elitch Gardens (amusement park), did some more shopping...well, OK looking, and really enjoyed each other. We spent sometime reminiscing about the past 10 years and our wedding day. I love spending time with Charlie...he's still my best friend ever and I'm so lucky to have him for eternity.
OK...this has turned out to be a long post! But now you are all caught up.
