While I've been sitting around waiting for this baby to come, Dad Foutz and Charlie have been hard at work in the basement. We went to Lowe's last week and bought all the lumber needed to start framing out the basement. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture of Dad's Highlander all loaded to the hilt with lumber. He fit about 20 16 foot long 2x4's in his little SUV. They were literally dragging on the road at times. It was pretty funny to watch as Charlie and I drove behind him with our Tahoe loaded to the hilt as well.
We'll eventually have 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a kitchenette, storage room, media room, and game room. Right now they are framing out two of the bedrooms and the bathroom. It's looking really good and I'm getting excited for the project to continue to take shape.
