Layna

Layna (or Laynie, or Layna Rae) is getting chubbier and cuter each day, if that's even possible. At her appointment on Monday she weighed 12 pounds and moved up into the 75% in weight and 50% in height. She's holding her head up so good and gives us big smiles. I love it! Dad Pratt came last week to help us on the basement some more and while he was here Charlie had a brilliant idea. He asked if Dallin and Kenzie could go home with him on Saturday and spend some time with Grandma since it was spring break. So we talked to Grandma and she agreed. The kids got to spend Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and part of Thursday with Grandma. Which meant Charlie and I were down to one kid for those days. We felt so young and spontaneous again. It was great! But we were also able to spend some one on one time with Alayna. It was so nice to be able to focus on just her and it was amazing how much of a bond I built with her and I was able to get her on a better eating/sleeping schedule. It was so wonderful to have that time, I'm feeling so much better about little Layna and actually I think she's happier too! So thanks to "Grandma with the crooked fingers" for allowing me this time with my baby that I didn't even know I needed. BTW, that last picture, of her sleeping on the floor, yeah never would have happened with big bro and big sis around! Had to capture the moment...might never happen again!
