Houskey: Once Lost Now Found

Houskey is Kenzie's favorite toy.  She is pretty much part of the family so when Houskey went missing you can image the sadness around here.  I will admit I even felt sad, mostly sad for Kenzie that she lost her most favorite toy.  We looked everywhere for that little kitty cat.  Houskey was gone for almost three months!  At one point Kenzie even said to me that she was starting to forget what Houskey looked like.

Until one day Kenzie went outside to play with her cousin Gavin.  They got the tricycles out and were riding around on the b-ball court when she opened up the seat of her bike and low and behold there was Houskey stuffed away inside the trike.  I was sitting at the computer when I heard her come up to the sliding glass door huffing and puffing.  I turned around to see what she was doing.  Still huffing and puffing with huge bug eyes and a smile she said MOM, MOM, MOM!!  Guess what??  Guess who I found??  And she pulls Houskey out from behind her back.  Yea!  Houskey had been found.

Since Houskey's discovery Kenzie has not let her leave her sight and she now sports a pink bow in her fur "so people know she's a girl".

We have also discovered a little bit of family history on Houskey.  Apparently her mom is a widow which we found out one night after reading from the bible.  She is married to a dog (Annie, the boy dog), and together they have a puppy named Puppy and a baby kitty named Pinky.  When Houskey was pregnant with Pinky she was not allowed to run or play, she just had to lay still.  Then once Pinky was born, a few hours later, she was up and back to normal.

I'm sure there will be lots of fun days for Kenzie and Houskey to come.

Ok, now that's funny! Thanks for the laugh. Kenzie is so random, and I love it!
