Spiral Award

Dallin was awarded the Spiral Award for academics.  The spiral (yes, the swirly circle) is his school's symbol/mascot and they award children with exceptional academics and or character with this award.  I was able to go to the ceremony and see him receive his award.  I'm really proud of this kid, he's pretty smart and he doesn't even realize it!  About half his kindergarten class got the award but as the grades got higher fewer and fewer kids got it.  By the time they got to 8th grade only 4 kids!  Way to go Dal, even with your banged up forehead and messy hair, gotta love it!
