Bee In His Bonnet
Charlie got a bee in his bonnet and decided to tear down the existing piece of garbage that was our play set and decided to build a new one! Bigger, better, stronger, and....over his head!! Well, I shouldn't be so hard on him. He's figuring it out and has become quite resourceful using a lot of existing materials and repurposing others. He's diligently worked on it for two days straight and has high hopes of finishing it tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath but for his sake I hope he does finish it! Right now the plan is to have two towers with a bridge between the two. Under the first tower will be the new larger sandbox. Under the bridge will be the swings. And under the second tower will be the Imaginarium (for those of you who have watched Community you'll know what I mean) where the kids can pretend they are on TV (large piece of plexiglass), or they are in jail (old crib rails). Another idea included a monster mural with a hole cut out and the kids can stick their head in the hole to look like they are getting eaten by the terrible monster. Who knows what will really happen or what new ideas Charles will come up with. I've totally left this whole project up to him and let him run with it. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised to see him tackling such a large project especially WITHOUT Dad Foutz here to keep him on task!

I never knew Chuck was so resourceful. Finishing a basement, and now building a play set! Way to go Chuck! I hope it turns out good.
It looks great! The hardwork and dedication paid off :) Can't wait to play on it!
