Kenzie Starts Kindergarten

This morning Kenzie entered the school world by starting her first day of Kindergarten.  She was a little nervous mostly because she didn't know any of her new friends yet.  Then I reminded her that she knew one friend, Mikayla from soccer, and that's all it took.  At least she knew one person and that made all the difference!  I stayed with her for a little while and she was shy and not very talkative but wasn't upset or crying either, but then again I knew she'd be fine.  I was proud of myself too, I kept it together.  In a way it's not fair to her, I was so emotional sending Dallin off to school and letting him go but with her it wasn't as big of a deal.  That was until lunch time.  I was sitting at the table with Alayna and realized how quiet it was.  I started thinking about how grown up my girl was and wondering if I had taught her enough to succeed in school, socially and academically.  And then Charlie came home for lunch and asked how I was doing and all of a sudden the emotions flared and I lost it!  I couldn't even talk!!  He gave me a hard time, of course, but was a good support.  I blamed it all on the pregnancy.  I just needed to get it out and then I was fine to talk about it.
