Today is Christmas Eve, Happy Christmas Eve! And here's my big o'l belly at 36.5 weeks...to be exact. At my 36 week appointment the diagnostic was this: 3.5 cm dilated and very soft. The baby has definitely dropped and weighs about 5-5.5 lbs. I told Dr. Wright that I'm seriously considering going without an epidural this time around. She said, "that's fine but usually your labor will go a lot faster without an epidural, so does your husband know how to deliver babies?" She's certain that when I do go into labor it will be fast so don't wait around at home unless we really want Charlie to deliver it! Dr. Wright totally got my hopes up with Alayna, that I was going to have the baby early, and then I never did. In fact I went two days past the due date and ended up getting induced. I'm not falling for her antics this time around, I learned my lesson last time. So I'm just going to take it easy and not worry about it (as much as I can) and try to enjoy these last few weeks.
