Summer...here we come!

Wow...it's already well into June and the summer is just trucking right along.  This happens every year...I dread the long summer days with all the kids home and trying to keep them occupied and then we finally get into a rhythm and we're having so much fun, life is good and then BAM! it's time for school to start.

Well, this summer I'm trying to get into the rhythm a little sooner by having something to do each day.  So far.....

we went to the downtown library...(notice shoes are off...surprise surprise!)

and read some books...

participated in story time (with a little reluctance from the 7 year old)...

admired the cool staircase while waiting for children to use the restrooms....

then crossed the street to visit our favorite bakery (not pictured), but before we ate unhealthy donuts, we had to scarf down some super healthy pizza and pop...

while being super silly and crazy, of course!

We have also visited the zoo...

convinced Lulu to sit on the potty (don't get too excited, that's all the farther we've gotten)...

and all 4 kids have enjoyed the play set...just how I envisioned this moment would be a year ago when Charlie built it!

Here's to many more fun adventures this summer under the big Colorado sky.
