Seven Months Old

The sixth month of Genie's life has been a remarkable one in growth and development.  Within a matter of 10 days Genie learned how to sit up, army crawl, scoot, transition from crawling to sitting and back again and finally full on crawling.  She's amazing!  Not only that but her two bottom teeth decided to poke through during this time.  Currently she is pulling herself up to the standing position and eager to walk.  We keep telling people she's 6 (now 7) months going on 2 years old.  She's AMAZING!!

Her little personality is starting to blossom.  She loves attention from her older siblings and thinks they are pretty funny.  She also loves to play tug-o-war with Chewy.  It's fun to watch them fight over toys like siblings.  She's a little busy body...always looking for the next thing to play with or put in her mouth.  She especially loves to chew on shoes...yuck!  I thought that was the dog's job, but she gladly take on the responsibility.  We have to be careful to keep all our shoes out of reach.

Charlie has to watch out for her when she's trying to stand.  She'll grab onto his leg hairs and pull with all her might to help her stand up...that hurts like...well you know.  I told him he needs to shave his legs or at least wear pants around Juju, she's ruthless!

Genie has started eating rice cereal and oatmeal.  We let her chew on crackers and other non-hazardous foods.  She loves to experiment with foods and will eat just about anything we give her, especially ice cream!
