Disney World 2014

I got online one evening after the kids went to bed yearning to go on a trip and after coming across some good prices, I convinced Charlie to go to Disney World for a family vacation.  We had no idea what we were getting into!  The planning, the packing, the preparation, the walking, the crowds, the prices, the TOTALLY AWESOME FUN TIME!  Despite everything, we really had a great trip!

Here are pictures of our trip.  I took so many pictures it was hard to narrow it down so here's pretty much all of them.

Phineas and Ferb.  Inside that light is Perry the platypus
Does that toy soldier look like Doofenshmirtz? Yup, it is!!
Captain Hook
Tick Tock Alligator
The House of Good Fortune
We did lots and lots of this...walking!

Mulan
Anna from Frozen

We stayed in Radiator Springs.
Mater greeted us right outside our building as we came and went.
Finding Nemo pool
Lulu loved the splash park
"Ah, you made me ink!"
splish splash
entrance to the Cars pool
exterior of resort

Cinderella's Castle
Waiting in one of the many lines
The Belle Experience was my favorite thing we did at Magic Kingdom.  It was pretty magical for me when Belle walked into the room.  I loved that movie as a child and watched it over and over again.
Dallin was The Beast
Kenzie was the Wardrobe
Dallin playing his part as the Beast
Kenzie is watching her brother dance with Belle
Yes, he really did dance with her.
Looking a little sheepish in front of a beautiful princess.
Lulu and Belle
Kenzie and Belle
Disney Jr. Live with Jake and the Neverland Pirates
Doc McStuffins or as Alayna says, Doc Stuffins.
Sofia the First

Here are the lanterns and sun-shaped decor so prominent in the movie Tangled.
The Frying PAN!!
Flynn Ryder's satchel
Rapunzel's Tower
Lulu was feeling a little grumpy but as soon as we got on the People Mover
ride in Tomorrowland she lit up and smiled for us all.
Kenzie enjoying the ride...
as well as Dallin
the Castle at various times of the day

LGM's
We watched the fireworks on the bridge right under this sign.
Beast's Castle
A show I wasn't really excited to see but ended up being really cool!
Lulu is entertaining us while the boys wait in line FOREVER to get our lunch.
My three little Disney kids.  We splurged and said what the heck, we gotta get some ears!
Swiss Family Robinson treehouse.  Finally, the kids could run and play and be silly.
They loved it!
The infamous teacup ride!
Taking a relaxing train ride around the park.
Had to get a shot of my man in the pink backpack.  Way to embrace it, Char!

Waiting for Beauty and the Beast Musical to start.
Hey, I'm actually in a picture!
Still waiting...
"Little town full of little people..."
"Now that I'm grown I eat 4 dozen eggs so I'm roughly the size of a BARGE!"
"Oh Gaston, you are positively prim-evil"
"She could be the one to break the spell"
"You must control your temper"
"Be our guest..."
"try the grey stuff it's delicious, don't believe me ask the dishes"
"Let's kill the beast"
"Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme"
Sigh, I love that movie.
Dallin got to participate in a Jedi Training course...
where he had to go face to face with Darth Maul

Darth Vader was there as well

and the Storm Troopers

Dallin got to build his own lightsaber
He knew right off the bat he wanted a green blade.
AT-AT
3D Muppets movie was pretty funny
Charlie, mister muppet enthusiast, was pretty stoked about it.
We had to eat at Pizza Planet!!
Toy Story Mania was such a fun ride!
Such cool decor, and awesome attention to detail.
You really felt like you were the size of a toy inside Andy's room.

A giant etch-a-sketch that drew trivia questions as you waited in line.

This was one of Dallin and Kenzie's favorite attractions.
The Indiana Jones Stunt Show.
They reenacted part of one of the movies where they blow up stuff.
You can tell my knowledge of Indy is not that strong.
I knew enough to appreciate it though.

Park entrance
They had these drums the kids could play and could have
stayed there for hours!

Jungle Safari kids
Deep Sea Explorers
Moroccan Dancers
The Pratt's in front of the Bug's Life Tree
Dori and Marlen

This show was truly interactive.  They sprayed venom (water) at us,
the stink bug stunk us out, the termites crawled under our benches,
the bees "stung" us.  It was awesome!
Driving a little red bus

Beautiful surroundings
If our kids were older we totally would have gone on Expedition Everest.
Hey kids! Stop! You're about to run over your father!
The girls hung out for a little bit while the dudes rode the roller coaster.
Two of my cutie pies!
Dallin and Charlie braved the Primeval Whirl.
Such a fun little show with great acting and singing!
We took the Safari Adventure trip to see lots of neat animals up close.

The animals at the petting zoo.

African dancers

Kenzie was so excited to see a giant Olivia from Lego Friends.
We didn't ever see Cinderella in person so we got the statue version.
And Buzz Lightyear rounds off the trip.  To infinity and beyond!!
