Our little 1 1/2 year old is developing into quite a character. She can be very demanding about what she wants (usually for me to hold her or for yet
another refill on her milk). She's also very helpful with picking up toys and putting her dishes in the sink. She can be a little bully at times, instigating hair pulling and hitting. Geneil is also our little climber. She loves to get the step stool in the kitchen and drag it around to situate it just where she wants it. Then she'll oftentimes climb up onto the kitchen counters and help herself to the butter dish. No kidding, she's eaten almost a whole stick of butter on numerous occasions before I noticed what she was doing. Totally grosses me out! She loves her little baby doll and wants me to wrap her doll up in her gee-key (blankie).
Her favorite things are milk, blankie, shoes, riding her trike, playing in the sandbox, helping Daddy with tools, climbing, playing with Chewy, cuddling, and did I mention milk?
Gennie is starting to talk so well! She can put two and three words together to start forming a sentence. She'll say things like, "Where Lulu?", or "You go bye-bye?" It's super cute and usually, you can understand her pretty well. I love it when she says, "Ooot Dallin, ooot" which translates, "Scoot over Dallin, scoot!" And, "Ought Det-zee, ought" which translates, "Stop Kenzie, stop" But if you ask her a yes or no question, no matter how she really feels the answer is always no. She's such a cutie!!
