Sadie's Blessing Weekend

I was so excited to have all 5 of my siblings come visit for Sadie's blessing weekend.  We had a BLAST!!  It was the first time we had all been together without kids and without most of our spouses.  It gave us an opportunity to relax and just enjoy one another.  Besides the blessing, playing "The Game of Things" together was the highlight of the weekend. I hadn't laughed so hard in such a long time!  We also did some shopping together and had a fun dinner at a local Italian restaurant.

Sunday was the blessing and it was awesome to have both my brothers, my dad, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law included in the circle.  Charlie gave Sadie a beautiful blessing.  Afterward, we gathered at our place for a luncheon which included the Pratt's, Alleman's, Roskelley's, Lou Scalmanini's, and all of my family.  It was great to have such support from family.  I truly know that family is what's important.  There's a reason that "families are ordained of God".  There is no other unit where we learn, grow, and feel such great love and support.  It was a testimony to me of how much I love my family and how important we are.
