Socks

Here's a new one for ya!  The other day Lulu saw me in the laundry room (my second home) and asked me, without being prodded by anyone, if there was anything she could do to help me out.  WHAT?!?  Is this the same child that complains about EVERYTHING I ask her to do and even screams and cries about the silliest little things?  I was floored!  It stopped me in my tracks and I had to look at her and I told her that's the nicest thing she's ever done.  Of course, I couldn't turn down her offer to help so I put her on sock matching duty.  She hopped right to it, jumped in the laundry basket, and started flinging socks onto the floor and all over the place.  This girl knows how to make boring sock matching fun!  She was a big help once she eventually got serious and made some matches ;-)
