We had a really special day for Kenzie on June 6, 2015. Our oldest daughter was baptized!! She shared her day with three other kiddos from our ward. It was a beautiful day. Grandma and Grandpa Foutz flew over from Utah. Grandma and Grandpa Pratt, the Alleman's, and our friends and neighbors the Joneses, all came to support Kenzie. Since we were sharing this special day we decided to divide up the program but somehow it ended up being a little heavy on the Pratt side. Both grandmas helped out with the music, Ellen played prelude during the baptisms, and Kenzie asked if I would give the talk on the Holy Ghost. It turned out great and I think most importantly the spirit was there!
Here's Kenzie's account on her important day:
On June 6th, 2015, I got babtizd. I tolk along time because 4 kids were geting babtizd. Owen went first, then me, after that was Felicity, and last was Lila. I was happy because the water was warm. I felt relliy wird in the jump suts. It was kreepy when evryboty was watching me. I flet good because I got babtizd.
Afterward, we had everyone over to our house for pizza. Dallin showed us the special project he had been working on all week. To make the day even more meaningful, Dallin made a slideshow of pictures with music all about Kenzie. He did a great job and I think it made Kenzie feel pretty important and loved.
