I got a massive bee in my bonnet and decided to tear out the existing basement kitchenette. I hated how dark it was and how much space it took. I wanted to keep a small bank of cabinets as well as the sink and fridge but we didn't need all the other cabinets and counters. Here are all the pictures of the various stages of the project. Charlie wanted absolutely nothing to do with this project (ok, I managed to convince him to help a tiny bit) so my brother, Jake, got roped into helping me. Lucky for me, he actually likes these kinds of things. We are loving our newly renovated space, perfect for all our crafting artistic girls.
