Holiday Wrap Up

Blogger has been slow to upload pictures so I've put off posting for a time when I have more patience.  So, better late than never here are the rest of our holiday pictures.

First: Dallin & Kenzie made all their own ornaments for the small tree in their room.  We did paper ornaments that they colored, ribbon spool ornaments from old Christmas cards, and glittered pine cones.  I didn't take a final picture of their tree, shucks.  But it turned out very original!

Second: Our New Year's party in which I was running to and fro and didn't take any pictures other than the three below.  Here's the line up of the children in attendance (minus Gavin).
We rang in the New Year with the Foutz clang before they headed home at 5:30 PM!!  It was pretty funny but the kids had no clue.  Kenzie wasn't a fan of all the noise makers.

For dinner we also had the 5 missionaries from our ward as well as 6 other adults not pictured for a total of 20 people. What do you feed a huge crowd like that, you ask? I baked a 22 lb. turkey (we bought before Thanksgiving for $.40 a pound) the day before (which took ALL DAY LONG, literally) and I cut it up and we ate turkey sandwiches, salad, Jell-O, and lots of various crackers, dips, and chips.  Charlie was so worried that we wouldn't have enough food and despite all the extra counter space I have in my kitchen it still wasn't enough to hold all the food!  Needless to say we had PLENTY!

Your new camera has more megs therefore it takes longer to load - change them to JPG files and use Microsoft Office Picture Manager or like program to lower the resolution down for web pages or email messages. They will then load a lot faster + you can use the program to enhance the picture, get rid of red eye, etc.
Nice pictures by the way.We still need to have our photo class. slp
