I'm slowly acquiring and creating more holiday related decorations. Here is my attempt at decorating for Thanksgiving.
I cut some prairie grass out back and put them in mason jars...real sophisticated, eh? The pumpkins are the Halloween jack-o-lanterns. I just turned them around so you can't see the faces. The leaves below are from last week's FHE lesson on being thankful. I cut out some leaves and each of us got 4 leaves to write down what we are thankful for.
I saw this in a magazine and thought it was perfect (especially this year with my extra large sweet tooth). It says "OK, here's the Thanksgiving menu so far: apple pie, pumpkin pie, blueberry tart, and ice cream roll. What am I missing? Cake! We need cake." And those old people sitting around that table just made me laugh. You gotta love the wall paper!
Our entryway.
I took about 2 minutes to print this off the computer and another 2 minutes to dig through my frames and wha-la!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Very cute! You are so creative. Miss you guys!
OK, you are truly creative. People always say that about me, but I steal most of my ideas. You just come up with them. You should make a blog with all these amaizing ideas for all to see. I love them.
