We got to sacrament meeting just as they were starting. The bishopric member was introducing our visitors who happened to be in town today: the area seventy, the temple president, 2 stake presidents from surrounding stakes and our own stake president.
We sit down and Kenzie's scab cracked on her knee and starts bleeding from an injury the previous day. It's bleeding through her tights and onto her dress. I grabbed a band-aid from the diaper bag and was ready to take her to the bathroom to put it on when she objects. I explained that we'd have blood everywhere if we didn't put a band-aid on it so lets go. She then STRONGLY objects. I glare at Charlie and he glares at Kenzie and she just gets louder and Louder and LOUDER. She thinks the band-aid will hurt so she doesn't want it on. So Charlie picks her up, I hand him the band-aid, and he takes her out. All the while she's now SCREAMING: NO DADDY NO!! NO DADDY NO!! Nice way to welcome our distinguished guests, Kenz!!
About 3 minutes later she calmly walks back into the chapel with the band-aid on her knee like nothing happened. I asked Charlie how he did it. He said he threatened to throw her into the sprinklers if she didn't chill out and let him put the band-aid on. NICE!
