Kenz
Highland Park had an opening in their preschool so they called us up and asked if Kenzie wanted to fill the spot. Even though she'll only attend 2 1/2 months I think it will be great for her! Her first official day was Monday. I wouldn't say she was excited to go but she wasn't real nervous or anxious about it either. She was a little shy at first but by the time I arrived to pick her up the reports were great! Her teachers Ms Stephanie and Ms Deb said she did really good. She had a wonderful day and the kids were happy to have a new friend in their class. I love how little kids are so welcoming to new comers. Ms Deb said that all of the kids were so excited to play with her on the playground they were running circles around her. Kenzie finally went to her and said, "I'm tired!"
On the way home Kenz said that she didn't remember any of the kids names except one...Kendryk. I asked if Kendryk was a boy or a girl....you never know these days. She said she was a girl and that "they both have names that start with "K", they are both 4 years old, and they both have little sisters. Her symbol is a kite and mine is a kangaroo. Mom, we're going to be great friends!" So cute! I'm thrilled with her positive experience.

So glad she has had a good experience so far! She looks so grown up in that picture with her backpack!
