The kids earned their way to the North Pole last Friday and had a wonderful fun-filled day, just like Santa promised they would. Luckily it's only an hour away from our house, I always thought the North Pole would take days to get to :-)
Gavin and Millie must have been really good all week too, because they got to spend the day with us as well! They have all sorts of fun things to do at the North Pole and it was just perfect for our kids.
They checked out Santa's sleigh...
got to meet the man himself...
watched Elmer the Elf sing and play his banjo...
warmed up inside Santa's Show House to see...
the magical wizard perform some pretty amazing magic tricks...
ride the Christmas tree...
the Ladybugs...
the reindeer carousel
the roller coaster (even Kenzie was brave enough to ride!)...
the motorcycles and cars...
the firetruck...
even Millie joined in and loved it...
the cowboy Rodeo Rider...
the old-fashioned cars...
and probably everyone's favorite, the candy cane slide!
Even the grown-ups enjoyed it...
double chin and all!
The whole gang, what a fun day!!
A few other things (not pictured): the world's highest ferris wheel, scary haunted house, sky ride, train ride, and lots of little toy shops and stores.
