Catching Up

November has been a busy month in the Pratt household.  A few noteworthy things have happened that I have failed to blog about.  I thought I'd take advantage of nap time to get caught up.

First off, Charlie's new store opened on November 6.  They had the most profitable opening day of any Neighborhood Market thus far....congrats!  The two little girls and I decided to pay a visit to see the new store and support Charlie.  Right when we walked through the doors we saw cardboard Charlie greeting us.  I had to get Lulu's picture with him.

Next, we celebrated Mom Pratt's birthday.  Her wish was to let her kids take their spouses on a date (we went to see Ender's Game) while she spent some time with the grandkids.  Then we would all sing and dance to the Lawrence Welk show and then give the little ones a bath...her two favorite things.  So, we made sure her birthday wishes came true.  Happy Birthday, Grandma!!

Let's see...next we decided to explore our new backyard and play set.  The girls loved enjoying the nice autumn afternoon.  I enjoyed taking a break from unpacking...while Chewy slept through the whole thing!

On Veteran's Day, Kenzie came home with this letter she had written which I thought was the cutest thing in the world.  I made sure to send a copy of it to Uncle Jacob.

Charlie had a Wednesday off so after the kids went to school I took a day to myself.  A much needed break to get away for a day.  I decided to go to the temple.  I FINALLY got to witness the new updates they have made in the temple.  I had a very positive and uplifting time in the temple.  Afterwards I went to IKEA and bought some things for our new house.  Then I braved downtown traffic at 4pm and headed over to another furniture store to pick out our new sofa sectional.  It felt amazing to be alone for a day!

And it was a good thing I was so well rested after my day to myself because the stomach bug hit our house just after that.  Lulu got it, then Juju got it, then Kenzie got it, then Charlie got it.  Throw up and diarrhea non stop for 4 days straight.  Kenzie was so wiped out by it she crashed right on the rug in the middle of the afternoon.  It was not pleasant...to say the least!

Well, that takes us up to today.  Grocery shopping, still organizing the house, and meal planning is what's going on now.  I'm hoping it's a good week :-)
