Gennie or Juju or Geneil, is an independent and strong-willed little girl. Her favorite line is "no, Gennie do it!" And most of the time she figures out how to do whatever it is she's set on doing whether it be putting on her shoes, getting dressed, brushing her teeth, or buckling her car seat. I have to just let go and let her do her thing and try not to get in her way! With things she's interested in, she catches on to them very quickly. It doesn't take long for Gennie to figure out an app on my phone or working the remote or cutting with scissors (yikes!!). She loves to color, watch movies or shows, eat pineapple and grapes, ride her trike, play in the sandbox (which usually ends up all over her body), swing, and trying to keep up with Lulu. She and Lulu share a room and every morning Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum (as we so affectionately call them) storm into mine and Charlie's room giggling and shouting or sometimes screaming and crying (depending on the day) about something or another. They are like two peas in a pod that can't stand to be in the same pod but can't stand to be without either. Gennie can be such a silly little thing. She always refers to herself in the third person. She loves to tell us that "Gennie toot...my bum!", and wear her sun "glass-less" in the house. She talks really well for a two-year-old but occasionally if we can't understand her we can always rely on Kenzie to interpret for us. She's also a very loving little thing. She will sit by me and give me a cuddle or a hug and say, "I love you, Mama". It just melts my heart. And she has these big huge eyes that are just adorable and when she wants some milk she shows off those puppy dog eyes, cups her hands to her face, and in her cute little voice she'll say, "I have milk Mama... pleeease?" How can you say no to that!?!

Geneil 2nd Birthday
Gennie, like her sister before her, loves Sesame Street...must be a 2-year-old thing. Actually, I really like Sesame Street too! Anyway, I saved all the SS birthday decorations from Lulu's birthday two years previous and wah-lah, instant party! Gennie was so happy to add to her SS characters collection with Elmo, Bert, Ernie, Big Bird, and Grover. She already had Cookie and Abby. She got to share a big chocolate birthday cake with Lulu and Daddy. It was a great celebration!
