Dallin was accepted into the district's preschool program, which I'm really excited about because that means we don't have to pay for preschool!! He had his screening last week and did AWESOME. I encouraged him as we drove there to be polite and speak loud so they could hear him and that there was no reason to be shy and to just answer the questions the best he could. I asked him if he was nervous and he said a little bit. When we first got there he clung to my leg for a minute but then mustered up some courage and was totally fine!
They took him into a room and sat him down with a teacher while I watched intently from the hallway. It was so cute to watch him sitting up on the big chair with his feet tucked under him and his hand under his chin. He answered all the questions and did everything the teacher asked him. I have to admit I got a little teary eyed watching him, all grown up independant and ready for preschool! Where did the time go?? He's such a smart little dude and has a genuine interest in learning. I know he'll do great in preschool!

That's great! I have really liked the CO preschool program. I am really going to miss it out here for Jake. There is NOTHING that is free out here. He will do wonderful and he'll be a little "sponge".
Mr. Smartypants. :) He's so dang cute.
Yea for Dallin!! Max has been in preschool here in St. George this year and we'll be doing it again next year. Who knows where we'll be in the fall. But, I give hats off to Montessori and their teaching. Max has really learned a lot along with social skills, etc.
