Pumpkin Time

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch this year.  I kept waiting for a weekend when we could go as a family but it just never happened.  Dallin's preschool class had a field trip to the pumpkin patch so it was a great opportunity to finally get some pumpkins.  The weather was chilly and windy but that didn't seem to bother the kids!

Dallin's favorite teacher, Mrs. Annette, is leaving her teaching job to work at the mall.  Not really sure why, but Dallin is sad to see her go.

We came home and carved the pumpkins...OK let me rephrase that...I carved the pumpkins.  Dallin didn't want to touch the gooey insides and so Kenzie didn't want to either.  I kept making fun of them and calling them chickens but it didn't change their minds.  They thought it was stinky too...they're no fun!

But they turned out cute!  Dallin has the spider and Kenzie picked the cat.
Happy Halloween!

How fun. I think I might have to agree with Kenzie and Dallin though, we are painting pumpkins this year ;) I think your answer to Kenzie was perfect, no more info needed!
