Shower

My friend Amber and I hosted a shower for our friend, Ashley.  She had her baby on September 20, her third boy!  Since she didn't need a lot of boy things, obviously, we made it a cash shower and decided we'd let her decide what she needed for the baby.  We kept things really simple and short.  We played one game...no one likes to play a ton of those baby games these days, ate some yummy food (banana bread, zucchini bread, pumpkin bread, fruit salad with fruit dip, and Rice Krispie treats) and then we just chatted for a little bit and called it good.  Since we had the shower after the baby was born we had her tell us the whole birth story and how it all went down.  Lucky for her it was a pretty easy going delivery.  All in all I think it was a success.  I always love hosting fun things like this!
