Pink Overload

Kenzie Benzie...Keezie Weezie...Kenz...Keez...(she'll practically answer to anything) had her birthday this week.  She turned FOUR years old.  She's still not accustomed to saying four when asked how old she is but she sure makes a darn cute four year old.  We had a small celebration with just the five of us.  She got to pick out her birthday dinner (cheese quesadillas) and we played some of her favorite games (unicorn, unicorn, dragon), and hide-n-seek.  I made her a unicorn birthday cake and when upon looking at it she said:
"Mom, did you mess up on that?"
"Well, it's not perfect."
"No...you're wrong! It's PERFECT!"
She's a pretty hard cookie to please so when she said that it made me feel really good.  I would have felt really bad if she didn't like her own birthday cake, especially after spending that much time on it!
Kenzie fared pretty well this year in the gift department.  Grandma Pratt got her a skirt (which she's totally into right now) and some Play-Do toys.  Grandma Linda made her a dress which she loves because she can twirl really big in it.  And wouldn't you know it, Grandma Pratt and Grandma Linda have the same wrapping paper!!
She also got a crayon tower with "like a million" crayons with colors like Razzmatazz, Wild Watermelon, Shocking Pink, and Marrooned.  She also got a movie (The Last Unicorn), a game called Bed Bugs, and a horse named Aspen Gold with a cowgirl to ride her.
Happy Birthday to my Kenzie.  Love you!!
